As you continue through this new year, remember that Mary is not a distant figure in history. She is your mother, given to you by Christ Himself from the cross. Speak to her daily. Wear her scapular. Pray her rosary. Trust in her intercession. She will lead you safely to Jesus, just as she led the shepherds and the Magi to the stable.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God. Amen. (Numbers 6:24-26)
