A Final Word for You
My friend, if you have prayed your way through even a few of these prayers, you have done something profoundly important. You have stood in the gap for your nation. You have lifted your voice to the One who holds history in His hands. You have participated in the most powerful work any citizen can do: the work of intercession.
The Scripture assures us that “the prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working” (James 5:16). Your prayers for your country are not futile. They are not wishful thinking. They are spiritual reality, releasing the power of heaven into the affairs of earth.
